During Operation OH JAC KYO, South Korea’s 9th and Capital Infantry Divisions launch an offensive through Phu Yen Province and inflict significant casualties and equipment losses on enemy forces in the region. This operation, the largest to date for the South Korean Army, lasts until April. Amid sporadic fighting, the offensive accomplishes the linkup of the two Korean areas of operation along the central coast of South Vietnam.1
