The primary purpose of the convention is to tend to critical business that will shape the organization n years to come., and to advocate for veterans and their families. The convention will address the needs of injured and ill veterans of all generations;

Create a forum for communities to come together to Honor, Respect and Remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country and to educate all to the Cost of Freedom.Veterans Traveling Tribute's Traveling Wall Aug 8-11. The week will be declared Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Week, will be having events Thursday-Sunday to celebrate. Saturday there will be a welcome home parade, and dinner with all Vietnam vets receiving a free meal.
