The City of Auburn’s annual Veterans Day Parade (11:00 AM - 04:00 PM)
The City of Auburn’s annual Veterans Day Parade is the largest parade honoring veterans West of the Mississippi. The parade will be celebrating its 48th year and has been designated by the National Veterans Day Committee and the US Department of Defense as one of the few Regional Sites for Veterans Day Observance. The days starts with a Veterans Remembrance and Lighting of the Flame at Veterans Memorial Park. Along the parade route static displays and military exhibits are showcased. Later in the afternoon marching bands will compete in Washington State’s largest marching band competition—this year will be its 47th year. As a Vietnam War Commemoration Partner, the City of Auburn will dedicate part of its parade to honor Vietnam Veterans.

Join the Vietnam Women's Memorial Foundation as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the dedication of the Vietnam Women's Memorial. Plans are underway for a series of events to commemorate this extraordinary landmark event. The weekend before Veterans Day is a perfect time to gather with friends and to hold reunions. Official events begin on Saturday the 9th of November.
Arts & Service Celebration – VAP – Veterans Artists Program (All Day Event)
Purpose: Propelling veterans into the mainstream creative arts community through networking, mentorship, collaborations and original productions
Activities: A week of workshops, service projects and performances supporting and celebrating veterans seeking professional careers in the arts.
