Join the Vietnam Women's Memorial Foundation as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the dedication of the Vietnam Women's Memorial. Plans are underway for a series of events to commemorate this extraordinary landmark event. The weekend before Veterans Day is a perfect time to gather with friends and to hold reunions. Official events begin on Saturday the 9th of November.

New York City Veterans Week Events - "Patriots Row" Street Fair, Madison Ave to 6th Avenue on 56th Street. This is a large "Street Fair" to include specific booths for Joint Services, Sponsors of the Veterans Week Events and Veterans Groups.
94th Annual New York City Veterans Day Parade (All Day Event)
"America's Parade" Featuring the U.S Army, recognizing the Department of Defenses' 50th Annuversary of the Vietnam War Commemoration and the 60th Anniversary of the end of the Korean War Commemoration. Honoring "Women Who Served & are Serving". 5th Avenue Parade route: 26th to 54th Street.
Astros Salute to Veterans (11:00 AM - 04:30 PM)
Veterans Day event honoring our nation's military and veterans, with a special thanks to those who served in World War II.
Arts & Service Celebration – VAP – Veterans Artists Program (All Day Event)
Purpose: Propelling veterans into the mainstream creative arts community through networking, mentorship, collaborations and original productions
Activities: A week of workshops, service projects and performances supporting and celebrating veterans seeking professional careers in the arts.

Dawson County Veterans Day Parade (01:00 PM - 07:00 PM)
EVENT WILL START WITH MEAL PROVIDED FREE ,FOR ALL LOCAL VETERANS AT 1PM, FOLLOWED BY PROGRAM AT 2:30 IN DAWSON MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDITORIUM BY LOCAL SCHOOLS, BANDS, VOCAL GROUPS, AND VIETNAM VETERANS. THIS IS FOLLOWED AT 4PM, BY PARADE THRU DOWNTOWN DAWSONVILLE, INCLUDING LOCAL AND AREA VETERANS GROUPS, AND LOCAL CLUBS. HOSTED BY DAWSON COUNTY VVA CHAPTER 970
