To thank and honor Vietnam Veterans with 5 days worth of events.

Children from several school districts will participate in the Art Contest on "Thanking a Vietnam Vet". We will be contacting local veterans organizations and ask that Vietnam Vets help judge the contests and share the art with their families and friends.

This event honors all veterans but the guest speaker will be speaking about the Vietnam War Commemoration

Vietnam Veterans recognition day.

Approximately 30 Vietnam veterans living in the Nevada State Veterans Home will be honored with certificates of appreciation. The Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War proclamation from President Obama, as well as the United States of America Vietnam War Commemorative Flag will be presented to the Nevada State Veterans Home.
