TEDx VeteransAffairs was established in 2018 by the department’s Veterans Month Committee to help promote National Veterans and Military Families Month. It is now led by VA Voluntary Service (under the Veterans Health Administration’s Office of Communication). The 2018 TEDxVeteransAffairs included talks on Veteran Suicide Prevention, the Value of Customer Service, VHA Innovations, Why Millennials Make Great Public Servants, The Future of HRIT, How to Better Serve Women Veterans and the experience of one Native American woman Veteran. Speakers included Dr. Carolyn Clancy, Veterans Health Administration; Dr. Lynda Davis, Veterans Experience Office; Dr. David Carrol, Veteran Suicide Prevention; Sabrina Clark, Voluntary Service; and Max Stier, President, Partnership for Public Service.
