MACV's purpose is to build a stronger coalition of service providers through networking that will better serve and support our Veterans, Military, and their Families by coordinating resources, working across organizational lines to help solve common Veteran issues. This annual picnic in the park honor's Veterans and their families. The Exchange has been invited to attend and we would like to honor our Vietnam Veterans with the commemorative pin at this time. Marion County Mayors & Town Representatives are Hosting the
9th Annual “Mayors’ Veterans Appreciation Day” event at the Marion County Fairgrounds, Saturday the 20th of July 2019
INDIANAPOLIS & SURROUNDING CITIES/TOWNS IN MARION COUNTY – Takes this opportunity to Welcome Home our Veterans and thank our Military Personnel for their service at our 9th Annual “Mayors’ Veterans Appreciation Day” event with a FREE Picnic, Fish Fry, Games, with a Classic Car, Truck and Motorcycle show. We will have several Veteran Motorcycle groups riding to the fairgrounds from several parts of the County. We are also featuring over 50 Vendors that provide support, services, programs and benefits to Veterans, Military personnel and their Families. The Vet Center Mobile Vet Van will also be on-site to answer questions about Veterans benefits.
