Former News 4 anchor Ryan Kern working to ensure Vietnam veterans are not forgotten

Reno, Nev — News 4's evening anchor Joe Hart caught up with former News 4 and Fox 11 anchor/reporter Ryan Kern who recently launched a Podcast called Finding Faces. It is part of Kern's mission to track down quality photos of each and every veteran who died in the Vietnam War so that their stories and sacrifices are not forgotten. Kern currently lives in Boston where he has been focusing his efforts on matching photos with veterans from that area. He says it's gratifying to find a picture of a veteran that helps tell the story of that veteran's life rather than relying on a stock military photo for the official record.
