Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is the nonprofit organization responsible for building the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. With more than 58,000 names inscribed on the Memorial, The Wall serves as a tangible symbol promoting healing and educating the public about the impact of the Vietnam War. The Hometown Heroes Service Learning Project is one of several educational programs featured below, including summer workshops for teachers and students, and school groups visiting The Wall – each providing opportunities for all to learn about those who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War, as well as other military conflicts in our nation’s history.
